Job Description

The Physical Security Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and executing physical security programs across assigned site(s), ensuring full compliance with corporate, regulatory, and client security requirements. This role supervises a team and supports the Security Manager in managing day-to-day security operations, investigations, risk assessments, system maintenance, and training initiatives.

The position requires strong leadership, operational oversight, and the ability to maintain a secure environment while driving continuous improvement in security processes.

Key Responsibilities

Security Operations & Compliance

  • Oversee and implement physical security programs in alignment with established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, corporate, client-specific, and industry security requirements.
  • Supervise daily physical security operations across assigned site(s), ensuring consistent service delivery and adherence to protocols.

Team Leadership

  • Directly supervise a team.
  • Monitor team performance, provide coaching, and address performance or conduct issues in a timely manner.

Audits, Training & Risk Management

  • Conduct regular internal audits and lead training sessions for security personnel,
  • Facilitate global and site-specific risk assessments within established timelines and implement mitigation strategies.

Incident Management & Investigations

  • Conduct and support investigations related to security and safety incidents, including personnel-related matters within the Real Estate and Facilities scope.
  • Assist leadership in implementing and maintaining Emergency Response Procedures (ERP).
  • Ensure accurate documentation, reporting, and follow-up of all incidents.

Systems & Vendor Management

  • Oversee maintenance and performance of all physical security systems (e.g., CCTV, access control, alarms).
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery of maintenance, upgrades, and support services.
  • Monitor and manage security systems maintenance contracts across all assigned sites.

Emergency Preparedness

  • Coordinate and execute semi-annual fire evacuation drills and other emergency preparedness activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 1+ years of experience in physical security operations, corporate security, military, or law enforcement.
  • Prior supervisory or team leadership experience is preferred.
  • English B2 preferred.
  • Schedule flexibility.
