Job Details

The Pharmacy Technician Supervisor is responsible for leading the workforce optimization of the Valley View, OH pharmacy. They will also contribute to providing a positive culture while ensuring the pharmacy is meeting the necessary KPIs. This individual will be expected to lead by our Core Values and be committed to delivering on our Patient Promise.
 

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for all fulfillment pharmacy functions:

    • Maintain high level quality assurance for the automated dispensing equipment

    • Maintain accuracy and efficiency of order fulfillment along the conveyor

    • Oversee packaging orders to be shipped to patients

    • Monitoring the host administrator terminal to ensure all orders are submitted correctly to Fulfillment

  • Expert on a variety of pharmacy systems

  • Responsible for employee performance management activities such as 1:1s, coaching forms and corrective action

  • Leading the workforce optimization of the Fulfillment pharmacy

  • Managing Pharmacy Technician schedules and staffing needs

  • In charge of meeting pharmacy KPIs

  • Leading accountability for meeting daily pharmacy goals to make certain timely delivery to patients

  • Perform and review quality audits and reviews

  • Training and developing Pharmacy Technicians

  • Demonstrates superior written and verbal skills to communicate with internal leaders to resolve patient issues

  • Drives impactful culture through leading by the Core Values in daily work to deliver on our Patient Promise

Education

  • CPhT is preferred

Experience

  • At least two years of current experience in a Pharmacy Technician role with a high volume pharmacy

  • Demonstrated supervisory/leadership abilities

  • Experienced in a high volume pharmacy environment

Physical/Mental Demands: This position is administrative in nature and will present physical demands requisite to a position requiring: hearing, seeing, sitting, standing, talking, and walking. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must be able to commute to multiple site locations within assigned territory. May be necessary to work extended hours as needed.

Schedule: This is a full-time position with an expectation to work an average of 40 hours per week and be available outside of normal business hours to meet customer expectations on an ad-hoc basis. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
