Reporting to the Operating Room Manager this position is responsible for the daily operations of the Operating Room, and supervision of professional and non-professional personnel. Is an active member of the hospital leadership team, supporting the hospital and Patient Care philosophy and goals. Directs technical and nursing staff.

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Minimum of 3 years clinical OR experience.
• Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
• CNOR certification is preferred.
• Current licensure to practice nursing in the state of Wisconsin is required.
• Current CPR certification - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart or American Red Cross is required.
• Analytical and statistical skills necessary to develop and monitor unit operating and personnel budgets.
• Demonstrates critical thinking and problem solving abilities in order to resolve complex clinical, systems and personnel problems and issues.
• Provides advice and council on sensitive patient care matters, acting in a public relations capacity for issues with area of responsibility.
• Must be able to assume 24 hour availability for unit coverage.

BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/National Health & Safety Association, License RN-Registered Nurse (30) - State of Wisconsin
