Role Responsibilities
In this role, you will operate within the Know Your Customer team of the Global Operations organization. As a KYC Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in supervising a group of KYC specialists and senior specialists who review customer cases requiring enhanced due diligence (ECDD). This includes reviewing and understanding the customer behavior, their relationship with counterparties, economic profile, as well as identification and resolution of any potential suspicious activity.
Manage a team of specialists and senior specialists who investigate customer profiles to make sure that no anti-money laundering or other illegal financial activities are involved.
You will be responsible for employees’ performance, career development, and problem-solving.
We will be looking for you to have a highly engaged team whilst successfully achieving business and performance results on a consistent basis.
You will be a subject matter expert who assesses processes and recommends meaningful process changes with the goal of effectively managing AML scenarios.
You will make a difference by proactively creating and/or enhancing daily volume of work monitoring tools, reports, and processes.
You will be working closely with other Operations Supervisors and People Managers to ensure best practices are consistent among teams and the broader global team.
You will be monitoring that Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are properly followed by team members at all times and updated timely in partnership with supporting departments.
Role Requirements
Strong knowledge of AML Compliance, KYC process, experience in banking or in Fintech.
Experience successfully leading and managing high performing teams whilst working cross functionally will be preferred.
CAMS certification would be evaluated as a plus.
Strong communication skills and fluency in English language (verbal and written).
Advanced knowledge of MS Office programs, background in reporting and data analysis.
Proven experience in project/ operational management and complex problem-solving skills.
People-oriented and solution-driven mindset.
Flexibility to work 8-hour shifts between 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM (Manila time), according to business needs, with assigned schedules varying within this range.
