- Supervise and manage the performance of Production Supervisors and their respective teams.
- Ensure that daily production targets are met in terms of safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including maintenance, engineering, and quality assurance, to resolve production issues and improve operational efficiency.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for the production department, identifying areas for improvement.
- Implement and uphold safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Lead daily production meetings to track progress, address challenges, and provide solutions for continuous improvement.
- Develop and coach Production Supervisors, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and professional growth.
- Assist in strategic planning and resource allocation to optimize production processes and meet long-term business goals.
- Handle personnel matters such as hiring, performance evaluations, and discipline in coordination with the Human Resources department.
- Completion of secondary school is required.
- Relevant certifications in production management or lean manufacturing are an asset.
- Five to seven years of experience in a supervisory role in manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of production processes, lean manufacturing principles, and safety regulations.
- Familiarity with employee legislation and safety standards.
- Computer literacy with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
