DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide functional and technical subject matter expertise in SAP Finance and Controlling, while also supervising a team of analysts and contractors.
Supervise a team of 2–3 full-time employees and contractors, provide mentoring, workload allocation, and performance reviews.
Design, configure, and support SAP FI (GL including New GL, AR, AP, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting) and CO (Product Costing, Actual Costing, Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders).
Configure Project Systems (PS) for asset capitalization and project settlements (e.g., expansions, turnaround projects).
Support month-end and year-end close processes: cost estimates, foreign currency valuation, assessments/distributions, depreciation postings, reconciliations.
Work on integration with Procure-to-Pay (MM, VIM, Vertex, Concur) and Order-to-Cash (SD, Billing, Credit, Collections, GetPaid).
Work on integration with Production Planning (PP), Plant Maintenance (PM), and other SAP modules.
Manage support for third-party finance systems including OpenText VIM, Vertex O Series, BlackLine, SAP Concur, FIS GetPaid, and FIS Integrity.
Lead SAP S/4HANA migration and ERP upgrade projects.
Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, Local GAAP, and SOX requirements.
Provide project management for large-scale financial system initiatives, including acquisitions and system integrations.
Work with key business users and process owners in the Finance & Accounting organization, Procurement, Customer Service and Credit Management teams to articulate leading practices and to identify opportunities to enhance & improve current processes, define project scope and project deliverables, manage and deliver projects, train and support users.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Information Systems or Computer Science or Business Administration.
Minimum Experience Requirements: 8 years of experience in accounting, Finance & SAP systems.
