Our diagnostic solutions are used in hospitals, laboratories, and clinics around the globe. The crucial information derived from our tests, instruments, and informatics systems is often the first step in patient care decision-making for hundreds of health conditions from heart attacks to blood disorders to infectious diseases and cancers.
What You’ll Work On
The Finance Supervisor, Gross Margin Improvement will be responsible for leading the efforts to further advance analytical capabilities outside of the traditional FP&A process in our Core Diagnostics Division. This position presents an opportunity for development with exposure to senior leaders and all functional areas in Core Dx (Commercial, Operations, Transfusion, R&D, Service). It also provides an opportunity for a driven individual to create custom tools, analytics, and process improvements to drive effective data-based decision making.
Responsibilities Include:
• Analyze and distill complex data to generate and present actionable insights to senior leadership, enabling effective decision-making to achieve both short-term and long-term financial objectives
• Work cross-functionally with key stakeholders to craft detailed financial models, map out processes, identify data sources, and provide insightful analysis for both identified and potential savings opportunities
• Manage the GMI monthly reporting process, ensuring data integrity and completeness within the GMI actuals tracking tool
• Collaborate across the organization to update and submit the monthly margin tracker and roadmap contingencies
• Oversee GMI forecast for quarterly LBE’s, including in-direct spend
• Support the long-range planning process (OEM) by quantifying gross margin headwinds, strategic initiatives, and future margin expansion
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of applicable experience in diversified finance/accounting roles
• Strong financial modeling skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a good sense of urgency, and a continuous improvement mindset
• Ability to think conceptually and strategically, while maintaining a results-driven approach
• Ability to effectively communicate cross-functionally and influence others with a strong desire to learn the business
Preferred Qualifications
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
• TM1 experience a plus

$85,300.00 – $170,700.00
