Damen Shiprepair Curaçao (DSCu) is a growing company in the Caribbean owned by the Damen Shipyards Group. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Supervisor Electrical.
THE ROLE
A Supervisor Electrical is the person in charge of overseeing all electrical work during ship maintenance and repairs.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
•Oversees ship repair operations by inspecting work scope, ensuring safety and proper preparation, coordinating team activities, and managing progress to deliver projects efficiently and on time.
•Acts as the (technical) point for Electrical activities on a project.
•Safely connects and disconnects electrical equipment on vessels.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
•SBO-4 level in Electrical Engineering.
•Certified based on NEN 3140 and NEN 3840.
•Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in ship repair.
•Proficient in spoken and written English; knowledge of Dutch, Spanish, and Papiamentu is an advantage.
