Based at our Wetherill Park branch in Greater Western Sydney, the Supervisor – Electrical role provides frontline leadership for the delivery of planned maintenance and breakdown support for our PowerGen customers.
The role leads and coordinates a team of electricians and mechanics, providing technical direction, oversight and support across complex diagnostics, troubleshooting, repairs and preventative maintenance of power generation systems.
You will ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with established procedures and customer contracts, while building team capability through coaching, guidance and strong operational decision‑making in a high‑volume service environment.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
You will make an impact in the following ways:
- Support Power Generation customers by scheduling planned maintenance in line with customer contracts and responding to breakdown events
- Provide technical advice and prepare repair and maintenance quotations
- Lead, coach and develop a team of electricians and mechanics, ensuring work is appropriately scheduled and completed competently
- Ensure team capability through training, mentoring and verification of required electrical competencies and certifications
- Manage internal processes supporting service delivery, including WIP, purchasing, contract reviews, customer portals and site inductions
- Coordinate high-volume workloads and make timely operational decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Ensure all works comply with Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental standards
- Build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Working alongside internal Project Power Generation team
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- A Grade Licensed Electrician
- Willing to be registered as the Nominee / License for the Supervisor License holder
- Current relevant electrical certification
- Knowledge of and/or experience with power generation products
- High Voltage / Low Voltage experience
- Customer service experience
- Experience providing technical advice and coaching to more junior technicians (preferred)

Competitive above award hourly rate paid as a permanent salary
Overtime penalties for all work above standard Monday – Friday 38-hour work week
