As a Production Supervisor, you will lead one or more production lines, ensuring a safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operation. You will be responsible for driving team performance, meeting production goals, promoting Lean Manufacturing, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement while developing your team.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and develop production associates across one or more manufacturing lines.
Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with Environmental, Health & Safety standards.
Ensure production schedules are achieved while meeting customer delivery commitments.
Drive product quality by ensuring compliance with manufacturing and quality standards.
Monitor and improve key manufacturing metrics including productivity, efficiency, scrap, and labor utilization.
Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives, including 5S, Gemba, waste elimination, and continuous improvement projects.
Coordinate staffing, attendance, training, and employee development activities.
Coach team members, provide performance feedback, and promote employee engagement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, Planning, and Human Resources to achieve operational goals.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and manufacturing standards.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience leading hourly production teams.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in automotive or high-volume manufacturing environments.
Knowledge of:
IATF 16949
ISO 14001
Industrial safety standards
OEE, Hour-by-Hour Boards, Andon systems
SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems
Core Tools (SPC, PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA, APQP)
Experience with employee training and skills certification programs.
