Responsabilidades:
Supervisar y coordinar actividades de soldadores y personal de fabricación.
Asegurar el cumplimiento de las normas de calidad y seguridad durante todo el proceso de fabricación.
Verificar que los trabajos se realicen según planos, especificaciones técnicas y procedimientos de soldadura aprobados en la planta. (WPS).
Coordinar inspecciones internas y externas, y garantizar la trazabilidad de los materiales.
Realizar reportes de avance, control de tiempos y registros de producción.
Capacitar al personal en técnicas de soldadura, seguridad y buenas prácticas de fabricación.
Colaborar con el área de ingeniería en la resolución de problemas técnicos durante el proceso de fabricación.
Liderazgo y supervisión de personal técnico, con enfoque en solución de problemas y manejo de conflictos.
Conocimiento avanzado en procesos de soldadura (SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, FCAW, etc.)
Interpretación de planos técnicos y simbología de soldadura (AWS).
Control de calidad, pruebas destructivas y no destructivas NDT (VT, PT, UT, RT).
Planificación y control de la producción.
Gestión de materiales y recursos.
Normativas aplicables: AWS, ASME ISO, API.
Manejo de documentación técnica: WPS, PQR, WPQ.}
Requisitos:
Ingeniería Mecánica, Ingeniería Industrial o carrera afín.
5 a 7 años de experiencia en supervisión de soldadura y fabricación en industria metalmecánica o a fin.
Deseable certificación en procesos de soldadura (CWS – Certified Welding Supervisor).
Cursos en inspección de soldadura, normas ASME/AWS y seguridad industrial.
Disponibilidad para rolar turnos.
Deseable Inglés intermedio.

Skills Required
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- 5 to 7 years experience supervising welding and fabrication in metalworking or related industry
- Advanced knowledge of welding processes (SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, FCAW)
