The Painting Supervisor is responsible for leading daily painting operations to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement.
Funciones y Responsabilidades:
- Supervisar diariamente las actividades del equipo de pintura y ensamble .
- Cumplir el plan de producción, así como los registros de consumos, tiempos y avances.
- Verificar que se cumplan las especificaciones técnicas de los procesos de pintura (tipos de pintura, espesores, acabados, etc.).
- Asegurar el cumplimiento de normas de seguridad e higiene laboral.
- Coordinar la preparación de superficies (lijado, limpieza, aplicación de primer, etc.).
- Controlar y conocer el uso adecuado de materiales y equipos (pistolas, compresores, cabinas de pintura, etc.).
- Realizar inspecciones visuales y con instrumentos (medidores de espesor, pruebas de adherencia, etc.).
- Capacitar al personal en técnicas de pintura, buenas prácticas y seguridad.
- Interpretación de especificaciones de hojas de seguridad de químicos y especificaciones técnicas de aplicación y secado.
- Reportar fallas, desviaciones o necesidades al área correspondiente.
- Mantener el área de trabajo limpia y organizada.
Requisitos del Puesto:
Educación:
- Ingeniería Mecánica o Afin
Experiencia:
- 3 a 5 años de experiencia en procesos de pintura industrial, automotriz o de estructuras metálicas.
- Mínimo 5 año en funciones de supervisión.
Conocimientos Técnicos:
- Tipos de pintura (base agua, poliuretano, epóxica, esmaltes, etc.)
- Técnicas de aplicación (spray, rodillo, brocha, inmersión, etc.)
- Preparación de superficies
- Normas de calidad (ASTM,NACE SSPC)
- Uso de instrumentos de medición de espesor y pruebas de calidad
- Interpretación de planos o especificaciones técnicas
