Supervisor of Crisis Peer Support

Radiant Health is looking for a Supervisor of Crisis Peer Support to help lead the delivery of compassionate, recovery-oriented peer support to individuals experiencing mental health crises. In this role, you will supervise and mentor Peer Support Specialists, oversee peer support services during mobile crisis responses, and collaborate with mental health professionals and community partners to ensure individuals receive the support, advocacy, and resources they need. This position requires a flexible schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed. The position also participates in an on-call rotation. Occasional travel to other offices, meetings, conferences, and/or seminars may be required.

What you'll Do:

• Supervision and Leadership:
  • Supervise and provide guidance to peer support team.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to discuss cases, share experiences, and provide updates.
  • Offer mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members.
  • Ensure adherence to ethical standards and best practices in peer support.
• Service Delivery:
  • Oversee the provision of peer support services during mobile crisis responses.
  • Assist in de-escalating crisis situations using peer support techniques.
  • Collaborate with mental health professionals, law enforcement, and other crisis team members.
  • Ensure timely and appropriate follow-up with individuals’ post-crisis.
• Program Development and Evaluation:
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of peer support programs and protocols.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of peer support interventions.
  • Collect and analyze data to improve service delivery and outcomes.
  • Prepare reports and documentation as required.
• Client and Community Engagement:
  • Advocate for the needs and rights of individuals in crisis.
  • Facilitate connections to community resources and ongoing support services.
  • Educate the community about the role and value of peer support in crisis intervention.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries with clients.
• Administrative Duties:
  • Manage schedules and assignments for peer support specialists.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as timesheets, reports, and other documentation.
  • Provide weekly peer supervision
  • Participate in staff training and development sessions.

• High School Diploma or GED
• Certified Peer Support Professional Certification Required
• Willing to obtain a Peer Supervisor Certification
• Personal lived experience with substance use and/or mental health challenges and recovery
• Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably within a mental health or crisis response setting.
