Supervisor Clinical Laboratory at Providence St. Joseph Hospital Eureka, CA. This position is Full time and will work 8-hour, Day shifts.
Under the administrative supervision of the Area Manager of Laboratory Services, the Assistant Manager, Technical Lab is responsible for the management of day-to-day operations for P-SJHS laboratories in Humboldt County (HC). Clinical responsibilities include supplementing vacant shifts as necessary to support department operations. Provides leadership oversight of area laboratory operations in the absence of the Area Manager of Laboratory Services. Works closely with all levels of management, physicians, the SJHS system, external organizations and the community. Must have a professional commitment to growth, be creative and innovative, and demonstrate competency in interpersonal communication, leadership ability, and problem-solving skills.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or related field.
- California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License California upon hire, Or
- National Certification from American Society for Clinical Pathology upon hire, Or
- National Medical Technologist - American Medical Technologists upon hire, Or
- National Medical Technologist - American Association of Bioanalysts upon hire, Or
- National Laboratory Tech - United States Government upon hire.
- 3 years experience as a Medical Technologist.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Supervisory experience.
- Supervisory or managerial experience in an acute care laboratory setting.
