What Global Trade Compliance contributes to Cardinal Health
Global Trade is responsible for the design, implementation and execution of policies, programs and platforms to enable compliant and efficient international movement of products and technologies.
Global Trade Compliance is responsible for the deployment of an effective trade compliance program through identification and interpretation of regulations, provision of regulatory guidance, training and development, audit and assessment, data management, process design/improvement, automated tool development, and M&A due diligence.
Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience, required
- Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, required
- English: intermediate / advanced
What is expected of you and others at this level
- Coordinates and prioritizes daily operational activities and supervises and leads operational staff
- Manage and updates departmental policies and procedures
- Ensure operational compliance within governmental guidelines
- The ability to determine operational impacts and communicate with management and the business to reduce potential delays
- Supervises daily operational priorities with the team and interact with customers, the business, and senior leadership at all levels as needed.
- Strong leader need to communicate clearly, identify areas of opportunity, root cause, solution, and implement basic problem resolutions.
- Prepares monthly Anex 24 & 30 Internal Audits.
- Re-Validation Process with Customs CTPAT and OEA
- Tariff and BOMS analysis with Cost structure
- Provide monthly training to the entire GT & Compliance group
- Comply with each import and export tariff regulation
- Control of machinery and equipment inventories
- Cost Update, UOM, Conversion Factors in GT Systems
- Monitoring system problems and maintenance of import-export
- Review of USA and MX brokers’ invoices.
- Manage FDA metric.
