What you will do:
Nos superviseurs ou superviseures cuisine font partie intégrante des équipes qui s’engagent à offrir une expérience culinaire exceptionnelle à notre clientèle. Ils et elles ont la responsabilité de soutenir le personnel de direction de la cuisine en coordonnant, supervisant et dirigeant les opérations en cuisine tout en veillant à la grande qualité des choix au menu et du service. Si vous brillez dans des environnements vivants, dynamiques et à rythme accéléré, ce poste est peut-être pour vous!
Dans ce rôle, vos principales responsabilités seront les suivantes (sans toutefois s’y limiter) :
- Diriger le personnel de cuisine dans la création et la préparation de plats de manière efficace.
- Aider la cuisine à assurer une préparation sécuritaire et sanitaire des repas et à appliquer des techniques d’assainissement à tout moment afin d’éviter les contaminations croisées et le gaspillage d’aliments et de boissons.
- Former et encadrer le personnel de la cuisine.
- Signaler tout bris d’équipement et d’appareil de cuisine.
- Participer à la vérification complète de la ligne, à la rotation des tâches de nettoyage et à la tenue des registres de température.
- Établir, mettre en place et communiquer les exigences relatives aux recettes des plats.
- Tenir un registre précis des pertes alimentaires et de boissons.
- Veiller à ce que les postes de préparation et de cuisson soient bien approvisionnés.
Qualifications requises :

- Vous détenez un diplôme d’études secondaires.
- Vous possédez 3 à 5 ans d’expérience en cuisine dans le milieu de la restauration.
- Vous êtes en mesure de travailler selon des horaires variables, y compris les soirs et les fins de semaine.
- Vous détenez un diplôme d’études postsecondaires en cuisine gastronomique ou en hôtellerie (préférablement).
- Vous avez de l’expérience dans la cuisine d’un établissement à grand achalandage (préférablement).
- Vous détenez une certification Smart Serve, si applicable.
- Vous avez une capacité démontrée à diriger et encadrer une équipe.

Our Back of House (BOH) Supervisors are an integral part of the team who provide an exceptional dining experience to each and every guest. The BOH Supervisor is responsible for supporting the kitchen leadership in coordinating, supervising and directing all aspects of kitchen operations, while maintaining high quality menu options and service levels. In this role, your responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Leading kitchen staff to create and prepare menu items in an efficient manner
- Supporting the kitchen with ensuring the safe and healthy preparation of meals and sanitation techniques at all times to avoid cross-contamination and the spoiling of food and beverages
- Training and coaching of kitchen employees
- Reporting on any repairs or maintenance required for kitchen appliances and equipment
- Assisting in completion of all line checks, cleaning duty rotation, and temperature logs
- Establishing, implementing and communicating menu recipe requirements
- Maintaining accurate log of food and beverage waste
- Ensuring preparation and cooking stations are well stocked
Qualifications:
This may be a perfect fit for you if:
- You have a required Secondary School Diploma
- You have 3-5 years' restaurant kitchen experience
- You have a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- You have a Post-Secondary in Culinary Arts or Hospitality (preferred)
- You have experience in high volume food program (preferred)
- You have a provincial Smart Serve certification where applicable
- You have a demonstrated ability to lead and direct a team
