The Data & Analytics Function oversees the analytics life-cycle in order to identify, analyze and present relevant insights that drive business decisions and anticipate opportunities to achieve a competitive advantage. This function manages analytic data platforms, the access, design and implementation of reporting/business intelligence solutions, and the application of advanced quantitative modeling.

  • Lead and manage L1/L2/L3 operations for the data platform, ensuring 24x7 monitoring and rapid first-level response.
  • Oversee incident resolution, service restoration, and root cause analysis (RCA) for complex outages.
  • Manage the rotation of on-call duties for system support across business and weekend hours if needed.

Key Professional & Technical Skills:

Cloud Platforms: Proficiency in AWS, Azure, or GCP administration, including compute, networking (VPC, DNS, TCP/IP), and storage services.

Data Technologies: Strong understanding of unified data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake) and big data frameworks like Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.

Programming & Scripting: Advanced skills in Python, Java, or Bash for automating routine operational tasks and building support utilities.

Database Management: Deep expertise in SQL and managing relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) or NoSQL systems.

DevOps & Automation: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and monitoring/observability tools like Splunk or Airflow.
