Duties & Responsibilities:
PNT Summer Intern:
The candidate will join a software development team in the day-to-day activities of software development for an embedded system for our PNT products. Activities include but are not limited to:
- Contribution to software architecture/design
- Requirements gathering/analysis
- Implementation
- Test - unit, system, integration, automated
- Troubleshooting and Bug-fixing
- Review and demonstrations of accomplishments
- Retrospectives and process improvement
Job activities include:
- Development of software and tests for embedded systems in C/Python
- Full software product life cycle involvement
- Participation in Agile Scrum software methodologies
Pre-Requisites / Skills / Experience Requirements:
Additional Job Description
- Completion of at least two years of undergraduate education toward a BSEE/BSCE/BSCS
- Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and testing C/C++/Python or software
- Demonstrated knowledge of software engineering design concepts
- Experience in Linux development environment is preferred
