Description: Ninja Motorized Engineering is a dynamic and innovative leader in the kitchen appliance industry, known for revolutionizing the way people cook and prepare food. We're seeking a highly motivated and creative Product Design Engineer Intern to join our Research and Development (R&D) Engineering team. As an integral member of our team, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of kitchen technology, contribute to cutting-edge product development, and work alongside passionate professionals dedicated to creating 5-star products
- Design Innovation: Contribute to the creation of the latest kitchen products and bring innovative technology to Ninja Kitchen appliances.
- Prototyping: Collaborate with the team to build proof-of-concept prototypes in our state-of-the-art machine shop, demonstrating a hands-on, creative approach to design.
- 3D Printing: Utilize 3D printing techniques to bring your design concepts to life, pushing the boundaries of kitchen technology.
- CAD Proficiency: Apply your expertise in SolidWorks or CREO to design and test kitchen appliances, working closely with our culinary team to ensure functionality and user-friendliness.
- Technology Brainstorming: Engage in discussions with subject matter experts (SMEs) and participate in brainstorming sessions to explore feasible technology paths for our advanced development teams.
- Attention to Detail: Demonstrate a meticulous and data-oriented approach to your work, ensuring that every design element is carefully considered.
- Self-Driven Learning: Exhibit a self-starter attitude with a strong willingness to learn and explore emerging kitchen technologies and innovative solutions.
- Production Processes: Gain familiarity with production processes, including injection molding, to ensure that your designs are manufacturable at scale.
- Passion for Excellence: Bring your passion for creating 5-star products to the forefront of your work, striving for excellence in every design and iteration.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with 3D printing and prototype development.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar design software.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
- Enthusiasm for kitchen technology and a strong desire to innovate.
- Familiarity with production processes, particularly injection molding, is a plus.
- Creativity and a drive for continuous improvement.
