Afori is an AI-first startup that lets insurance brokers deliver best-in-class service at scale. We build specialized AI agents that understand insurance processes and automate back-office work, starting with the most-used tool in a broker's day: the email inbox.
Backed by a €4M seed round (12× oversubscribed) from General Catalyst alongside notable angel investors, and founded by an experienced team (previously built the insurtech unicorn wefox), we are building the next generation of agentic AI for the insurance industry.
This internship has three tracks. You apply for the track that fits you best and go deep on that one thing. You work directly with the founding and senior team, own a real project, and build something that actually gets used, not a theoretical exercise.

We want all of our company knowledge in one place: synced across every tool and instantly retrievable by everyone on the team. No more "where is that doc?" or "who knows about X?". This is our second brain, and you would build it.
- Design and build a central knowledge system that connects our tools (Notion, Slack, Google Drive, and others) into one searchable, always-current source of truth
- Research and choose the right technical approach (retrieval, embeddings, sync logic) and implement it yourself
- Make company knowledge genuinely retrievable for every employee, not just findable in theory
- A technical foundation, comfortable with APIs, scripting, and automation tools
- An interest in LLMs, RAG, and knowledge management, with your own opinion on how a second brain should work
- The drive to turn a messy problem into a clean, usable system
Our website is built in Framer and needs a visual overhaul. You would own the redesign, from look and feel to layout and responsiveness, and bring the site to where Afori is heading as a company.
- Redesign our website visually in Framer
- Improve layout, hierarchy, responsiveness, and overall polish across all pages
- Translate Afori's positioning into a website that looks as sharp as the product
- Basic working knowledge of Framer (required, since our site lives there)
- A strong eye for design: typography, spacing, and detail
- The ability to take a brand direction and run with it independently
Our go-to-market and our internal operations run on automation, and we want more of it. You would build and improve the end-to-end automations that power both our sales motion and our internal operations, entirely in n8n.
- Build new end-to-end automations in n8n, for GTM and internal operations
- Improve and harden existing n8n workflows so they run reliably and scale
- Identify the manual, repetitive work across sales and internal processes and automate it away
- Comfort with n8n (or the ability to ramp up extremely fast) and with APIs
- A builder mindset: you wire systems together until they just work
- Scrappy, self-directed, and energized by shipping fast
- Real ownership of a project that ships and gets used, not a side task
- Direct collaboration with founders and the senior team
- A front-row seat to how an AI-first company gets built from the early days
- High room to learn and take responsibility
