The opportunity:
Agoda is seeking an intern to support our Talent Acquisition team by conducting competitive insights and market intelligence research. The intern will benchmark Agoda’s hiring practices, candidate acquisition strategies, and use of recruitment tools and best practices against leading companies in the industry. This project will provide Agoda with actionable recommendations to enhance our recruitment effectiveness and candidate experience.
The intern will gather and analyze data from a variety of sources, including public reports, industry publications, and direct outreach where appropriate. The findings will be summarized in clear, data-driven reports and presentations to inform Agoda’s talent acquisition strategy and help us stay ahead in a competitive talent market.
In this role, you'll get to:
- Comprehensive benchmarking report comparing Agoda’s hiring practices and candidate acquisition strategies to key competitors and industry leaders.
- Analysis of recruitment tools, technologies, and best practices used by top employers in the market.
- Summary of emerging trends and innovations in talent acquisition, with recommendations for Agoda.
- Data-driven presentations for Talent Acquisition and HR leadership, highlighting key findings and actionable insights.
- Market mapping of talent pools and sourcing channels relevant to Agoda’s hiring needs.
- Recommendations for process improvements and new initiatives to enhance Agoda’s recruitment strategy
What you'll need to succeed:
- Currently enrolled as a 3rd-year student or below and will maintain student status throughout the internship period.
- Available to participate in the internship program from 22nd of May to 31st July 2026 (10-week program)
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365
- Great English communication skills in both spoken and written forms
- Structured logical thinking and problem-solving skills. Strong numerical acumen
- Positive attitude and openness to learn and adapt
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, multicultural environment
