Internship Program
The CareSource Intern is responsible for providing support on special projects, initiatives, and specific activities which will vary by assignment. We offer a 12-week, paid summer internship program for college students who want to separate themselves from the pack. This is an exciting opportunity to obtain real-world experience and prepare yourself for your career after college. The program offers:

Essential Functions:
Assist with data collection and analysis, identifying patterns and outliers in claim payments
Collaborate in modeling provider contract what-if scenarios
Help prepare materials for meetings with key stakeholders
Conduct research into payment standards and benchmarks of unique provider types
Monitor and review dashboards to identify concerning trends
Perform mathematical and financial calculations on reports
Assist in advancing productions and events.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- Current Rising Junior or Senior in an accredited degree program or graduated within the last 6 months is required
Competencies, Knowledge and Skills:
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite to include Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Effective listening and critical thinking skills
Dependable, flexible and ability to maintain confidential information
Effective problem-solving skills with attention to detail

General office environment; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time

Compensation Range:
$35,200.00 - $56,200.00CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate’s education, training, and experience as well as the position’s scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level. In addition to base compensation, you may qualify for a bonus tied to company and individual performance. We are highly invested in every employee’s total well-being and offer a substantial and comprehensive total rewards package.
