The Role

The summer intern in the Skarnes Lab will be engaged in genome editing experiments of human iPS cells.  This will involve the design of editing reagents, culturing iPS cells and PCR genotyping of single cell-derived colonies. 

The student intern will provide assistance to the company by studying the processes performed in the department assigned to them. They will gather information and develop a deeper understanding of business practices with hands-on experience, and they will work closely with different team members as they set out to assist with entry-level tasks that need to be completed. They will gather research, capture data, and attend meetings to develop the knowledge base that they will need to transition into new career opportunities.

Pay Range: $14.5 - $30.51
