The Position

Organon is recruiting for a student to join the Global Procurement (GP) department by June 1, 2026, for approximately 10 to12 weeks. The role will be based in Jersey City, NJ or Plymouth Meeting, PA.The IT Procurement team within GP is responsible for managing the procurement of IT-related services, ensuring cost-effective and efficient solutions that support the company's business objectives.
Education:Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Systems, Management Information Systems (MIS), Procurement, Operations, Engineering, Data Analytics, Finance, or a related field.
Responsibilities
Assist in the procurement of IT services inclusive of software, hardware, telecom, AI, system integration, and managed services
support supplier selection, evaluation processes, and supplier relationship management
Participate in contract negotiations and management
Conduct market research and analysis to support procurement decisions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of procurement activities with business needs

Hands-on experience with supplier management, sourcing, and contract negotiations.
Skills in data analysis and reporting related to procurement activities.
