About This Position
ChristianaCare's Education department is searching for a summer intern to support the team's training initiatives by assisting with new hire training sessions, managing administrative tasks, and contributing to the creation of engaging training activities. This position will also provide hands-on experience in IT education and meaningful contributions to the organization.
PLEASE NOTE: This is an 8-week, full time summer internship paying $20/hr.
Principal duties and responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of new hire training sessions.
- Manage and organize administrative tasks related to training programs.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of engaging training class activities.
- Provide support to the IT Education team in achieving training objectives.
- Participate in hands-on projects to gain practical experience in IT education.
Education and experience requirements:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Education, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred.
- Prior experience in a professional or academic setting related to training or education is a plus.
- Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS), Microsoft Office Suite, or other educational tools is preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills required.
