Job Description:
Satair is looking for a Summer Intern - Commercial Sales & Support to join our Sales & Support team based in Herndon, VA
You will be part of a Sales and Support team. The following are some activities you may be involved in:
- Highlight and deploy cross team sales & support improvements for our Account Directors.
- Basic weekly reporting on highlights and lowlights, when requested.
- Support one Quarterly Sales Meeting.
Meet the Team:
The team consists of Account Directors who are in a key sales role, responsible for the overall customer relationship with Satair: selling material and services to their assigned customer base while simultaneously serving as a point of escalation for support topics needing attention.
Your Working Environment:
Airbus Americas, Inc. U.S. corporate headquarters located at 2550 Wasser Terrace, Suite 9100, Herndon, VA 20171. Over 200 employees work at this Northern Virginia facility managing sales, marketing, procurement, and support for commercial aircraft customers across the United States and Canada.
Program Highlights:
Participation in the Summer 2027 Intern Program: May 17, 2027 - August 6, 2027 (12 weeks)
Intern project is to collect, create and share cross team improvements that incorporate different sales & support best practices used by Account Directors that are proven successful.

Your Challenges:
Administrative: 80%
Connect with the Account Directors to understand their profile, customer base and business objectives. Create a customer persona, i.e Airline, MRO, Freighter, OEMs, Distributor, Brokers, etc
Understand business sales strategy and tools to measure success.
Participate in the Monthly Regional Review & Monthly Regional Sales Review.
Collect and compile practices that are successful using a survey or through direct communication.
Create, compile and share best practices for the sales and support team of Account Directors as it applies to the different customer personas.
Additional Responsibilities: 20%

Your Boarding Pass:
HS Diploma/GED and enrolled in University, required
Seeking degree in Business & Marketing, preferred
Able to work onsite in Herndon,VA for duration of Summer Internship, required
Ability to work in the US without current or future need of visa sponsorship
Skilled in the use of computer/programs to include Google Suite of products
Communicate effectively in verbal and written form with internal and external customers
Must be well organized and have good time management skills

Pay Range:
Hourly range based on the required profile: $24 - $39.75/hour. Rate determined by type of degree program and year in school (Bachelors through Masters). Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on geographic differential. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors. This position offers the following benefits: Employee Assistance Program, Paid time off including paid holidays.
