We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Intern to join our dynamic team at FreedomPay. This internship will provide you with hands-on experience in the payments technology industry, helping to develop and enhance innovative solutions. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a passion for technology and a keen interest in the fintech space.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist the Accounting team to close the month end books, focusing on bank reconcilements and corporate credit card work
- Be part of the team gathering information for the annual financial statement audit with KPMG
- Invoice customers from a sales order queue for credit card device purchases
- Join the team in setting up a new billing platform, Zone Billing, to optimize our process
- Work in Netsuite to assist the functions/processes of the Accounting/Billing team
- Entering daily deposit efficiently
- Credit card processing
- Credit card reconciliation
- ACH reconciliation
- Customer account billing and payment disputes
- Calling customers to follow up on discrepancies in payment
- Support the Finance Team by investigating and resolving payment related inquires
- Other responsibilities and enterprise duties as assigned
- Reaching out to customers with overdue invoices to collect payments
