Role Summary
As an Associate you will become part of and contribute to our Multi-Asset Strategies team that seeks to deliver, robust outcomes tailored to client needs. During the 12-week internship, you will work directly with our investment professionals and will have broad exposure to the team’s investment management capabilities. Additionally, you will be paired with an experienced mentor who will provide feedback and guidance in areas such as job performance, relationships, and role expectations.
This hybrid position will be based out of our New York, NY or New Canaan, CT office.
How You Will Make an Impact
The intern would work on team’s ongoing portfolio construction projects and analysis on a variety of asset allocation topics.
The primary responsibility of the summer associate would include:
streamlining our model portfolio environment and our transition to new software.
create the necessary connectivity between our in-house TILT tool that creates tactical positions and the new software that will be our data repository as well as analytics and reporting hub.
identify parent-child framework across similar custom models to monitor portfolio construction.
understand differences in portfolio construction across the model portfolio universe and recommend relevant portfolio analytics for monitoring various families of custom portfolios from a risk/return/attribution perspective.
Participate in ongoing projects related to portfolio construction and portfolio research.
What You Bring to the Team (Required)
MBA - 1st year OR Master’s degree (such as Financial Engineering).
Strong quantitative skills and proficiency in programming e.g., with Python or R.
A consistent track record of outstanding accomplishments in one or more areas of interest or experience.
The ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
Steadfast ethical standards and integrity.
Creativity and unbridled intellectual curiosity.

Additional Assets (Preferred)
Concentration in finance or economics preferred but not required.
