About the opportunity
We are seeking a motivated Summer Intern to assist in building and refining our Underwriting Resource repository. The intern will work closely with Underwriting Management to thoughtfully reorganize guidelines and best practices, and transfer documentation to the new repository. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in documentation management, E&S underwriting principles, and provides collaboration with industry professionals.
What we’re looking for:
- Currently pursuing a degree in a relevant field such as Risk Management, Information Management, Library Science, or a related discipline.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Critical thinking with intellectual curiosity
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate and work with underwriting leaders to drive desired outcomes
- Familiarity with SharePoint systems is a plus.
This is a paid internship ($25/hr) that will run for 9 weeks from Monday, June 2nd - Friday, August 1st. This will be a hybrid role based out of our Roswell, GA office with an expectation of full work weeks as well as in-office presence on the days that the rest of the Underwriting Excellence team is in-office (currently, Tuesday/Thursday).
