This internship supports Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems and engineering applications by assisting users with technical support, account administration, troubleshooting, testing, and system enhancements. The position also helps maintain and improve engineering data and documentation, supports data migration and cleanup efforts, participates in cross-functional projects and process improvement initiatives, and contributes to the development of user guides, training materials, and other documentation to ensure effective system use and adoption.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with responding to user questions and support requests related to PLM and engineering software tools.
  • Help document issues, track requests, and follow up on support tickets.
  • Support user account administration activities, including system access requests and basic configuration updates.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and testing system enhancements, upgrades, and configuration changes.
  • Participate in testing activities to validate system functionality and user requirements.

Education and Experience
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Sophomore, junior, or senior standing preferred.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred.
  • Exposure to engineering, manufacturing, or information technology environments through coursework, projects, clubs, or prior internships.
  • Familiarity with data analysis, business systems, or enterprise applications.
  • Interest in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), engineering processes, or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with database concepts, reporting tools, or business applications is a plus.
  • Experience with engineering software, ERP systems, or PLM systems is helpful but not required.
