Internship Details:
Dates: June 1 – August 7, 2026
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week (Monday–Friday)
Pay: $14/hour
Location: Headquarters Office in Memphis, TN

Qualifications:
Must be actively enrolled, and in good standing, in an accredited college or university, as a sophomore, junior, senior, graduate student, or recent graduate upon date of hire and for the duration of the 10-week program, ending on August 8th.

Internship Focus:
Our intern will be helping to further our work through our National Black Organizations (inclusive of the National Pan-Hellenic Council) that participate in DIY events, St. Jude Walk, Sunday of Hope and St. Jude Leadership Society, and proprietary campaigns.
Majors preferred: Business, Nonprofit Management, Marketing, Public Relations, Sales, Psychology, Sociology, Communications, and any other related majors
Skills preferred: Event Planning, Social Media, Collaboration, Creativity, Self-starter, Problem Solving, Innovative, Effective Communication Skills, Adaptability, Organizational Skills

Additional Internship Program Requirements:
Must be a current member of Divine Nine/NPHC (National Pan-Hellenic Council) in good standing.
Requires a degree of judgement; ability to effectively manage internal and external relationships.
Requires knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and Power Point.
Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
Specific Internship Description and Preferred Skills:
This internship invites collegiate National Pan-Hellenic Council members to work closely with our Community Impact team to create and execute impactful strategies. Our goal is to acquire and cultivate the next generation of St. Jude supporters through the implementation of new and existing programs, platforms and campaigns targeting audiences from the collegiates to adults.
Community Impact Vision: To ensure every generation has an introduction to, an experience with and a clear understanding of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Community Impact Mission: Your Passion, Our Mission: To attract the next generation of St. Jude supporters by providing engaging fundraising activations that harness the passions of our diverse audience in a genuine way. We create fun and meaningful activations that ignite a lifelong affinity in the next generation of St. Jude supporters.
Work with the Community Impact team to focus on driving awareness, engagement, and revenue from African American groups and organizations in support of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Projects include:
Researching opportunities for African American groups and organization engagement including philanthropic trends, National Black Groups/Organizations, and developing strategy for undergraduate involvement.
Supporting the dissemination of culturally relevant information to support front-line fundraisers
Supporting enterprise events targeting the African American groups and organizations
Assisting with operations for key events, trainings, and programs
Task/projects include working with our core African American fundraising programs and NPHC proprietary campaigns.
