Precision AQ is seeking a highly motivated Finance & Operations Intern to support our Engagement Solutions business during Summer 2026. This internship is designed for an individual interested in developing real-world experience at the intersection of finance, operations and data analytics within a growing services organization. The intern will work closely with senior Finance & Operations leadership to help build/support key reports, dashboards, staffing models, and AI-enabled workflows that support decision-making across the business. This role offers meaningful ownership, exposure to executive-level analysis, and hands-on experience with modern analytics and automation tools.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analytics & Reporting
- Support the development and maintenance of dashboards and recurring reports related to financial performance, utilization, staffing, and operational health
- Assist with data validation, cleanup, and reconciliation across multiple data sources
- Help identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities within financial and operational datasets
- Contribute to the documentation of reporting logic, metrics definitions, and assumptions
Staffing & Hiring Model Support
- Assist in enhancing staffing, capacity, and hiring models used to support forecasting and workforce planning
- Analyze historical staffing and utilization data to inform future modeling assumptions
- Support scenario analysis related to growth, hiring timing, and resource mix
AI & Automation Enablement
- Support Engagement Solutions initiatives focused on AI implementation and automation
- Assist with testing, evaluating, and documenting AI-enabled tools or workflows
- Partner with team members to help translate business needs into data or AI-driven solutions
Cross-Functional Exposure & Learning
- Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Analytics, and Technology stakeholders across Precision AQ
- Participate in team meetings, working sessions, and project reviews
- Gain exposure to how data, finance, and operations work together to support client delivery and business growth
Qualifications
Required
- Undergraduate currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Data Science, Operations, or a related field
- Strong analytical skills with interest in data-driven decision-making
- Comfort working with Excel and PowerPoint
- Curiosity, initiative, and willingness to learn new tools and concepts
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through on assigned work
Preferred (Not Required)
- Exposure to data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Introductory experience with SQL, Python, or statistics coursework
- Interest in AI, automation, or applied analytics in a business setting
- Prior internship, project, or coursework involving data analysis or modeling
