We are actively hiring for Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) CAD Designers at our south Denver office in Dove Valley, Colorado. This position is responsible for the SUE drafting in AutoCAD for Plan and Profile designs. The ideal candidate has experience in AutoCAD, utility drawings, and knowledge of subsurface utility engineering (SUE).
Primary Responsibilities:
- Create and/or update utility drawings utilizing processed field data.
- Communicate directly with SUE & internal for incoming orders and work.
- Meet on job sites for large projects as needed.
- Work directly with City Inspectors and Engineers to review and change plans for permitting.
- Actively communicate with customers, vendors, and supervisors as situation warrant.
- Perform QC of deliverables with other team members.
- Perform records research and data collection for Plan and Profile.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Education or experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Proficient verbal, written, analytical and organization skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Microsoft Office Suite experience.
- Ability to meet deadlines and objectives.
- Q3 Contracting is a drug-free environment, and all candidates are subject to drug testing.

- Bilingual Spanish skills preferred, but not required.
Compensation and Benefits:
Q3 Contracting provides competitive market pay, with a comprehensive benefit package that includes:
