This role is part of the AVEVA Commercial organization with high level of collaboration within Business Operations, Tech Support, Adoption, Sales, Partners and across AVEVA. This is a global role focused on the commercial and sales aspects of our success offerings available to both partners and customers.

Provide subject matter expertise for our broad success portfolio, releated sales policies, promotions, pricing and complex deals and negotiation support for the AVEVA global sales team.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to sales regarding our commercial support and success program policies, programs, pricing, campaigns, promotions etc. for perpetual and subscription entitlements and offerings
  • Ensure relevant field staff (direct and indirect) have a proper understanding of the support and success offers, content and value proposition and apply proper messaging throughout the pre-sales and post-sales process. 
  • Responsible for facilitating and approving quoting, and subsequent contractual terms, related to the customer success offerings for perpetual and subscription opportunities.
  • Provide guidance with challenges related to Customer Success entitlements and offerings that could stop renewal of high-profile customers. 
  • Track and support renewals and opportunities related to Solution Support customers.
  • Provide support to Global Technical Support and Adoption Services teams for the region as an advisor and the creation of proposals for consultancy services either through Distributors or direct to our customers. 
  • Provide counsel to sales and review “non-standard” (i.e. excessive discount, special entitlements, or other anomalies) Customer FIRST entitlement requests via Delegation of Authority/Waiver Process
  • Support the Deal Desk related to all Adoption commercial offerings
  • Present Customer FIRST & Adoption Offers during AVEVA led customer facing events, customer meetings, etc. 
  • Create content, templatize and maintain related collateral such as brochures, web contain, FAQs and other related collateral.
  • Other related program management and field support activities as requested by managers

Important Working Relationships

  • Align regional activities with global goals and initiatives. to create and adapt value propositions as needed.
  • Collaborate with Global Technical Support and Adoption Services leadership to align resource needs with key customer proposals and contracts.
  • Collaborate with Global Technical Support and Adoption Services leadership to ensure governance in the region of proper ordering procedures and fulfilment.
  • Support Direct and Channel Sales to structure adoption offerings and entitlements for new and renewal agreement opportunities.
  • Channel Managers, local Distributors, and Renewals team to align them with policies and goals.
  • Marketing team to effectively promote adoption offerings and related offerings

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required

  • Ideally 8+ years of professional work experience, in high tech enterprise software market
  • Demonstrated ability to work in dynamic work environment, and drive overall business results
  • Direct and transparent approach to communication with excellent written and oral communication skills, can confidently deliver presentations in large settings
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills. Working in a close-knit team, must be naturally collaborative and diplomatic with strong networking and influencing skills
  • Highly motivated and self-directed, results oriented that is balanced between both long-term objectives and short-run performance.
  • Superior organizational, planning, and analysis skills.
  • Ability to travel as required (~10%).
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience in services and support offer management, processes and operations is preferred.
