Mother Teresa of Calcutta, a K- 8th Grade Diocesan School located in Lutz, Florida, seeks highly qualified substitute teachers for the 2026-2027 school year. Substitutes work as needed. Applicants must have a teacher certification from the Florida Department of Education. The desirable candidate should be a certified teacher, practicing Catholic and/or be Christian-centered. It is also desirable that the candidate be highly responsible and energetic, organized, and child-focused. Responsibilities for the school include teaching classes for grades K-8.
Candidate must complete the diocesan hiring process, get fingerprints for a Level II Background Screening and complete other mandated trainings such as Safe Environment, Ethics, Bloodborne Pathogens, Child Abuse Reporting and Suicide Prevention.
