Reporting to the Subsidiary Reporting Partner and located in Bangalore , India the Subsidiary Reporting Lead will be part of the Global
Finance organization of Finastra.
Responsibilities & Deliverables:
Your deliverables as Finance Expert will include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Ownership of all Statutory entity financials for Romania, Poland & Turkey
• Responsible for all the statutory accounting, & tax requirements for countries listed above
Responsibility for completeness and accuracy for all financial reporting, with review of transactional postings performed by the Shared Service Centre in Bangalore, India
• Review and approval of all balance sheet reconciliations for these legal entities
• Assist with monthly and quarterly close activities and financial reporting
• Fulfilling statutory reporting and filing requirements
• Review of tax filings and calculations supported by third party vendor
• Management of local third-party supplier relationships
• Act as the key audit contact for relevant entities for the annual statutory statements and tax audits
• Support local Directors with financial reporting implications
• Support group finance in London with country specific queries
Special projects including serving as project lead with implied responsibility for meeting project objectives and timelycompletion
• Perform ad hoc financial planning and analysis and all other duties as assigned
• Assist the Cosec Team and work with Tax team to ensure all compliance requirements are fulfilled
Required Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• Qualified accountant (CA or ACA (UK)) or in the last year of articles to attain CA qualification
• Work experience as an auditor with Major audit firms or internationally recognized Audit Firm
• Minimum 1 years of post-qualification experience in accounting or financial roles as a legal entity controller would be considered as an adavantage
• Experience in Statutory Financial Reporting in IFRS, or IAS and Local GAAP in above named countries
• High degree of computer proficiency, particularly Microsoft Excel and general ledger software
• Knowledge of full lifecycle within software development
• Fluent in English
