ISS International Spa is looking for Subsea X Tree Engineer for an offshore project in the Mediterranean Sea.
Requirements
Profile will hold an honours degree in Mechanical or Civil or Structural or Subsea Engineering from reputable University. The degree must contain a thorough grounding in the theory and techniques of structural engineering.
Min 10 years working experience in subsea X-tree area production facility (subsea) construction and Installation, the experience gained shall be in a similar role and the candidate shall have a strong construction engineering background and have demonstrable yard leadership skills.
Must have experience working for a major subsea equipment supplier, preferably subsea trees.
Must be familiar with the design of sub-sea tree blocks (master valve block, production wing block, etc.), valves, and tubing hangers.
Prior experience in new product development and/or R&D; qualification activities to API requirements is preferred.
Must be able to demonstrate clearly that they understand how to perform concept layouts, detail design layouts, generate/check/approve the actual manufacturing drawings, understand the drawings required for the manufacturing process, material selection considerations, NDE that should be called out on manufacturing drawings, and independently perform design calculations to justify their design.
General knowledge of materials, including welding and heat treatment is required.
Must be hands-on using SOLIDWORKS, AUTOCAD and other design software.
Hands-on experience of design and who have worked for or with a major Operator
Providing assurance for design and operational aspects of offshore brownfield activities
Strong analytical skills, a strong understanding of engineering fundamentals and specialist knowledge in design and structural engineering analysis as required
Experience of relative design methodologies, construction activities, installation activities and associated analysis

- Duration: 12 months liable to extension
- Working schedule: 12 hours a day / 7 days a week
- Rotation: 28 days ON / 28 days OFF inclusive of travelling days
Skills Required
