The Subsea Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, performance, and operational readiness of Subsea Production Systems (SPS) throughout the project lifecycle. The role will support the planning and execution of subsea operations and interventions, coordinate technical activities with internal and external stakeholders, and manage subsea equipment, tooling, and documentation. The Subsea Engineer will also ensure compliance with company procedures, industry standards, regulatory requirements, and HSE expectations while supporting safe, reliable, and cost-effective offshore operations.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure BWE’s Intervention and Construction schedule and/or Project Schedule is supported by ensuring on-time delivery by Subsea contractors.
- The Subsea Engineer is expected to critically analyze subsea mechanical, hydraulic and intervention equipment designs for weakness and carryout lessons learned/identified with existing hardware and develop workarounds to meet operational requirements.
- The Subsea Engineer is expected to plan, review and assess equipment in storage and viability for use subsea and create Scope of Work for equipment repair/refurbishment to make operational.
- The Subsea Engineer is expected to critically analyze and assess existing documentation (any deviations, risk assessment, etc) and highlight errors and gaps and create Scopes of Work, designs or risk assessments to allow continuation of safe operations on the field.
- The Subsea Engineer shall be responsible for tooling provision and availability to react and plan for each subsea intervention well intervention ed in the most safe and cost-effective manner.
- The Subsea Engineer will assess, and contribute to the SGIP, SGSS and SGSO documentation requirements.
- Monitor technical & operational performance of vendors and HSE compliance.
- Maintain BWE subsea tooling & equipment.
- Participate in Risk Assessments

- Subsea Engineering experience with in-depth knowledge and expertise
