The Subscription Analytics & Planning Manager will lead the financial planning and analysis process for our growing software and subscription business. As the company scales its recurring revenue model alongside its established hardware portfolio, you'll partner with brand and platform leaders to model the economics that drive the business—recurring revenue, customer lifetime value, and unit economics—and deliver the analysis and reporting that guide key decisions. This is a hands-on individual contributor role for someone fluent in subscription economics who wants to help optimize and scale a high-margin recurring revenue business.
This position reports to the Director of Finance and is based in Carlsbad, CA.
As the Subscription Analytics & Planning Manager, you will have the opportunity to:
Facilitate and track the execution of annual and long-term financial plans across both hardware and subscription lines.
Build and maintain recurring-revenue models, including ARR/MRR forecasting, retention and churn, customer lifetime value (LTV), customer acquisition cost (CAC), and payback period.
Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for stakeholders, incorporating SaaS metrics alongside traditional hardware P&L.
Analyze the economics of hardware-plus-subscription bundling, pricing strategy, and the margin implications of evolving revenue mix.
Analyze customer profitability and segmentation, channel and brand profitability, and the financial impact of key business initiatives.
Partner with business leaders to drive growth and profitability through financial planning, analysis, and risk management.
Support "size the prize" exercises on new ideas, subscription offerings, and monetization models.
Support demand and supply planning in coordination with business leaders.
Collaborate with the corporate Finance team on platform financial analysis.
You have:
Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting. CPA or MBA preferred.
5+ years of progressive financial planning and analysis experience; experience in a SaaS, subscription, or recurring-revenue business strongly preferred. Golf or consumer hardware industry experience is a plus.
Demonstrated fluency in SaaS/subscription metrics and unit economics (ARR/MRR, churn, LTV/CAC, net revenue retention, cohort analysis).
Strategic thinker with strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills
Strong proficiency with Excel and financial modeling tools; experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or other analytics platforms is preferred.

What We Do
OUR STORY Fox Racing is the global leader in motocross, mountain biking gear and apparel. We outfit the world’s best competitive athletes and enthusiasts with products that combine innovation, style, and rooted in the brand's original competitive motocross spirit. BORN FROM DIRT Before there was Fox Racing, there was a vision. Geoff Fox believed his high-performance suspension and engine components could give riders an on-track advantage. Driven to prove this on his terms, he founded team Moto-X Fox to compete against the might of the Japanese factory teams. The team quickly became the top non-factory riders in the competitive AMA 125 National Championship series, proving that the products he and his team designed and built were the best money could buy. FUELED BY PASSION Although we have expanded our activities and products into Mountain Bike, BMX, Surf and Wakeboard, the idea of elevating athletic performance through progressive innovation is still what drives us. From moto gear to apparel to outerwear, everything we make is developed with the rider in mind. No matter the terrain, the condition or the environment, Fox designs and engineers gear and apparel with the goal of making every ride a great one. THE ONLY CONSTANT IS CHANGE Inspired by our heritage, we continue to push limits, defy boundaries and pursue continuous innovation. With each success, we set a larger, more ambitious goal. Through the guidance and feedback of Fox's championship-winning athletes, we continue to maximize the experience of the world's best competitive action sports athletes and enthusiasts with an array of products that combines innovation and style. Fox employs over 500 people, in over 20 countries worldwide, and has a proud history of sponsoring some of the finest athletes. Our corporate headquarters is located in Irvine, California, in the heart of Orange County.
