Pay Range: $15.25/hour-$20.00/hour
Position Purpose:
The Subrogation Support Representative provides essential operational assistance to the Subrogation Department, its clients, and consumers under direct supervision. This role involves processing information in compliance with laws, regulations, and client guidelines to ensure appropriate actions on behalf of consumers and accurate communication with clients and internal departments. *This position is hybrid at our Bloomington, IL office.*
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Set up and maintain subrogation files, ensuring all required documentation is accurately recorded.
- Process inbound correspondence by indexing and determining appropriate actions.
- Retrieve necessary documentation directly from client systems.
- Accurately enter data for new file placements.
- Process and update claims as needed.
- Apply knowledge of Afni and client-specific guidelines to make informed decisions and exercise sound judgment in all tasks.
- Respond promptly and effectively to internal collector or coach requests.
- Utilize all relevant software and division-specific applications to track and record customer/client activities efficiently and accurately.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required; some college coursework preferred.
- Prior administrative experience, especially in insurance or legal industries, is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Familiarity with claims systems like E-Subro Hub is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask with excellent attention to detail.
