Your next career opportunity:
You will shape curriculum and subjects for a new fully online Master of Counselling launching in 2026.You will teach and coordinate online subjects, and support educators to deliver engaging, practice-relevant learning experiences.
What you will deliver:
Design and refine online Master of Counselling curriculum in partnership with academic leaders and Melbourne Online specialists.
Develop, coordinate and review online subject content, ensuring high quality, coherent learning experiences across the degree.
Teach counselling subjects online and supervise, mentor and support online educators contributing to the program.
Ensure subject delivery, assessment and academic integrity comply with departmental, University and professional accreditation requirements.
Contribute to departmental governance, planning, policy development and community partnerships that strengthen the program’s impact.
You may be a great fit if you:
Hold a Master of Counselling or equivalent and meet eligibility requirements for ACA membership.
Bring experience designing and developing counselling, social work or human services curricula, particularly for online delivery.
Demonstrate successful teaching and coordination of counselling subjects, with evidence of innovation and flexibility in online modes.
Exhibit strong organisational skills, managing multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining high academic and service standards.
Build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders, collaborating to achieve shared program and departmental goals.
Show clear commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion and reconciliation within teaching, curriculum and professional practice.
