About the Role

As a Subcontracts Management Specialist II, you'll develop subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services for our subcontract systems to guide the development, production, and global sustainment for multiple contract types.
You'll be responsible for preparing our bid packages, developing evaluation criteria, analyzing and evaluating our proposals, negotiating subcontract provisions, selecting or recommending new subcontractors, and administering our subcontracts. Additionally, you'll administer standard subcontracts agreements, such as Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and Time and Material (T&M), through the entire contract lifecycle, and will participate and lead minor to moderate negotiations of terms, price, and schedule, and will monitor subcontractor performance.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education required is BA degree in related field, or relevant experience in lieu of degree
• 3+ years of experience or relevant higher education may substitute for experience
• Skilled in Microsoft suite of products
• ERP/MRP experience required,
• Experience managing various complex contract types (FFP, Cost Plus, T&M, etc.)
• Demonstrative experience leading projects to execute Subcontracts and sourcing activities (project management, risk management, schedule & cost management, supplier relationship management)
• Ability to develop and implement subcontracting strategies to achieve cost savings and efficiency
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills
• Ability to interact with leadership, suppliers and external personnel on matters often requiring coordination between functional organizations

Preferred Qualifications:

• SCM-related certifications preferred
• SAP experience preferred

Additional Requirements:

• Frequently walk, sit, stand, climb stairs and steps
• Frequently repeat same hand, arm, and finger motion many times to include finger and hand dexterity
• Rarely lifting or carrying up to 20 lbs.

Working Conditions:

• Rarely exposed to fumes or hazardous chemicals/materials
• Rarely exposed to loud noises

Estimated Starting Salary Range:
$68,926.06 - $94,773.33
