We're filling this role for a client, a fast-growing boutique fitness brand redefining Pilates through a hybrid, full-body workout that combines Pilates, strength training, and cardio into one 45-minute, instructor-led session.

Located in Commack, this opportunity is with the brand's first New York location, which recently celebrated its one-year anniversary and is entering an exciting new phase of growth.

 
Position Summary

The Studio Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the studio, including sales, client experience, team leadership, and daily operations. This role requires a highly organized, results-driven leader who leads by example, takes full ownership of studio performance, and consistently delivers a premium, high-energy member experience.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Drive membership sales and achieve monthly revenue targets

  • Manage lead generation, follow-up, and conversion processes

  • Conduct and oversee outbound sales calls and client outreach

  • Track and report on key performance metrics (conversion rates, retention, revenue)

  • Train and coach front desk team on sales techniques and accountability

Client Experience

  • Deliver and uphold a best-in-class, high-touch client experience

  • Ensure every client is welcomed, engaged, and supported

  • Resolve client concerns quickly and professionally

  • Build strong relationships to drive retention and referrals

Team Leadership & Management

  • Lead, coach, and hold front desk staff and head instructor accountable to performance standards

  • Manage scheduling, coverage, and daily team execution

  • Conduct regular team meetings and performance check-ins

  • Oversee head instructor and instructor team members in absence of head instructor

  • Foster a positive, high-energy, and accountable team culture

Operations & Execution

  • Oversee all daily studio operations (opening/closing, class readiness, cleanliness)

  • Ensure all administrative tasks, reporting, and CRM updates are completed accurately

  • Execute marketing initiatives (events, promotions, in-studio engagement)

  • Ensure consistent capture of content (e.g., class photos/videos) for brand marketing

  • Maintain organization and efficiency across all studio processes

Leadership & Accountability

  • Lead by example in professionalism, energy, and execution

  • Take full ownership of studio performance and results

  • Ensure strong follow-through on all initiatives and responsibilities

  • Proactively identify problems and implement solutions

  • Maintain a visible and engaged presence in the studio

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Membership sales & revenue targets

  • Lead conversion rate

  • Client retention rate

  • Sales activity (calls, follow-ups, bookings)

  • Team performance and accountability

  • Operational accuracy and task completion

  • Client satisfaction and feedback

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of management experience (boutique fitness or hospitality preferred)

  • Proven track record in sales and hitting revenue targets

  • Strong leadership and team management skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail

  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Passion for fitness, wellness, and client experience
