Our continuing growth has resulted in the need to hire a Studio Artist (Temporary). The Studio Artist will work closely with the Studio team members and Project Management to ensure timely execution of all deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Primary responsibilities include executing revisions to layouts, resizing art, and creating PDFs from art files
- Consults with the Senior Graphic Designer, Studio Manager. Associate Creative Director or Creative Director to evaluate specifications for individual project needs
- Prepares finished layout for printer; preflight disks and prepares for output
- Archives completed projects to appropriate media
- Assists with related special projects as needed
Required Traits, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients
- Results- and detail-oriented approach to work delivery and output
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Proficiency in Creative Suite applications
Minimum Required Education and Experience
- BA degree in advertising or graphic design
- 1+ years of graphic design experience in an advertising or marketing agency
- Knowledge of desktop publishing applications (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat)
- Knowledge of prepress/disk-to-plate preparation
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (specifically PowerPoint)
