Position Summary:
Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Student Project Assistant - Boca Raton, FL.
The Student Project Assistant will provide support to the Director and Project Managers of Design and Construction Services (DCS) on both minor and major projects. This position offers flexible hours, with the opportunity to contribute to various projects while gaining valuable experience in project management and design.
Summary of Responsibilities:

Organizing and saving project documents according to the established subfolder structure.

Archiving completed project records in the Archive H drive following the current procedure.

Updating building floor plans with information received from project managers or consultants, including onsite verification.

Updating DCS infrastructure maps based on received records, with onsite verification of the information.

Assisting with graphics for the Facilities Management website and other special projects.

Renaming, resizing, and cataloging photos for use in various applications.

Minimum Qualifications:
FAU degree-seeking graduate student with a minimum of five credit hours (or nine if international) and a minimum 3.0 GPA required.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and familiarity with other design software (e.g., SketchUp, AutoCAD).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
Architecture or Civil Engineer Grad Student.
Salary:
$15.50 per hour.
