We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Network Analyst Co-op to join our IT team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in network analysis, troubleshooting, and support. The successful candidate will work closely with our network engineers and other business units to ensure the smooth operation of our network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for end-user-related network issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve end-user wireless and wired network issues.
  • Address network security incidents and recommend improvements.
  • Assist in monitoring and maintaining network performance.
  • Collaborate with team members to implement network upgrades and improvements.
  • Document network configurations and changes.
  • Conduct network security assessments.
  • Provide technical support to end-users regarding network-related issues.
  • Participate in network-related projects and initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a Computer Science, Information Technology, or related program.
  • Basic understanding of network protocols and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wireless ).
  • Familiarity with network hardware and software (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
