Job Summary:
The Student Engagement Advisor is a key member of the Risepoint Australia team, you will work as part of a team who work with students from around Australia needing guidance to make the right decisions about postgraduate study – ultimately improving people’s lives and helping them reach their full potential.
The Student Engagement team, focus on recruitment, plays a pivotal role in expanding Risepoint’s reach by attracting and engaging prospective students. This team is responsible for developing and executing recruitment strategies and guiding students through the application and enrolment process.
How You will Make An Impact:
Reporting into the Student Engagement Manager, this integral position will be the first point of contact for students from around Australia who need assistance to make the right decisions about postgraduate study.
Student Engagement Advisors are critical not only to our business, but to the students that they support. Each Student Engagement Advisor represents a partner university where they guide prospective students on the entire enrolment process from inquiry to application submission and enrolment into their course. You are counted on to provide thorough information about a university’s courses and serve as a link between various departments. Depending on the needs of the individual student, Student Engagement Advisors provide not only guidance on processes, but support through the various obstacles a student may encounter.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Phone and Email-Based Student Outreach:
Contacting warm leads who have enquired about our partner programs
Cross Functional Relationships:
Working closely with Marketing, Academic Services and Student Support teams to ensure continuous feedback loop in maintained
Share any key insights with the broader teams for product development and industry connection opportunities
Data Integrity & Admin:
Ensuring student records are kept up to date so that students receive the correct information regarding their application and/or enrolment
Job Qualifications:
A minimum of 1-3 years of work experience in a customer service role or related field is required.
Experience in sales support, or education-related fields (preferred, but is not essential).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Client service-oriented individual with outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to relate well to others and perform duties with a high degree of integrity, confidentiality, and adherence to professional ethical standards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Education: An undergraduate degree in any discipline is required.
