As a member of this team, you will be responsible for:
Within the framework of authorized policies, approved budgets and operating goals:
• Help expand our country analysis capabilities and coverage
• Maintain databases, PowerPoint presentations, internal websites, and analytical tools
• Monitor, analyze and produce research on economic and financial developments
• Assist in the preparation of internal and external reports, including collecting, organizing and analyzing information from a variety of sources
• Provide research assistance as needed to Economic Research team
• Ad hoc research projects
To succeed in this role, you have:
• Pursuing a masters or undergraduate degree in Economics or Business
• Knowledge of economics and understanding of the financial sector
• Experience using Bloomberg and Microsoft Office
• Experience working in a research assistant role
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Self-starter with ability to work constructively within a team and perform effectively in periodic, higher pressure situations.

The expected salary range for this position is $44,850.00 - $56,550.00 per year, prorated based on the term of the contract.
You may also be eligible to receive an annual Incentive Award pursuant to our Short-term Incentive plan and our Long-Term Incentive plan (if applicable), and to participate in our group benefits and retirement plans – details on these elements of compensation are included within OMERS & Oxford offer letters.
