Student Assistant, Video Design Verification Testing (Ballerup, Copenhagen)

GN Audio is looking for a high performing Student Assistant in the System Verification department at Jabra, assisting with Video Image Quality Testing in the Design Verification Test Team.

In this role, you will be assisting our technicians and engineers in running Video Image Quality measurements on our devices. You will have the opportunity to familiarize yourself with industry standards for image quality measurements of Videobar collaboration devices, ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards.

The Team You Will be Part of

Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:

  • Familiarize yourself with a wide range of cutting-edge Audio-Video products.

  • Understand industry standards for video image quality measurements. This includes understanding the specific protocols, methodologies, and best practices required for accurate and reliable testing

  • Provide support to test technicians and engineers in running measurements on our devices and prototypes

  • Assist in setting up equipment, conducting tests, and ensuring accurate data collection

  • Take responsibility for routine equipment calibration schedules, adjustments, and maintenance across the labs.

  • Catalogue, organize, and document information about newly acquired equipment, ensuring proper inventory management, and facilitating easy access for the testing team

To succeed in the role, we imagine that you have/are:

  • Completed or enrolled in a bachelor’s degree in engineering, Video/Image Technology, Telecommunications, or related field, with a solid foundation in relevant knowledge areas. Enrollment in a Master's degree in Light Engineering, Photonics Engineering, or Image Processing is a plus

  • Strong interest in cameras or video devices and technologies, including cameras and lights, videobars and webcams, Image DSP, video editing, or other related fields. A passion for staying updated with the latest advancements and trends in the industry is a plus

  • Experience or coursework with image quality and measurement equipment would be advantageous

  • Self-motivated and proactive attitude, demonstrating the ability to learn quickly, adapt to new challenges, and contribute effectively in a dynamic research environment

  • Fluent written and spoken English skills

Ideally, we are looking for a candidate that is about to enter their Master program, with an expected graduation in summer 2026.
