Welcome to Planning & Procurement - Dairy Cultures
You will be joining a team of five highly engaged and competent employees and a student assistant. We as a team are responsible for all the planning for site Avedøre which include: Fermentation, Freeze drying and packaging. We are also responsible for purchasing all the raw materials and packaging materials used at site Avedøre and others.
Your workplace will be in the Avedøre Plant as the rest of our team. We are located on Jernholmen 1, Hvidovre.
In this role you’ll make an impact by:
Contributing as a student assistant in the Planning & Procurement team, where you will be responsible for tasks across the following main categories:
Update planning related master data according to our Planning Excellence mindset
Scheduling and production planning related tasks
KPI updates
Support our distribution center with various tasks
Assist on different projects.
Support our LEAN journey
Ad hoc analysis
Help with various projects
You will of course get a thorough introduction to the tasks and you will have good colleagues who can help you.
We imagine that you can work 15 hours per week – preferably two full days (it can be up to 20 hours, depending on your availability). The work is on-site. We are very much flexible around your exams, and it will usually be possible to work more hours during the summer.
Who are we looking for?
We imagine that the ideal candidate is one year in their bachelor program or at the beginning of their master’s degree – preferably studying production engineer or within supply chain. We imagine that you are enrolled in DTU, but other universities could also be relevant.
Moreover, we are looking for a student assistant who can see themselves in the following:
You are a go-do person who like to take ownership
You have an analytical and data-driven approach to your tasks
You are structured and enjoy handling both basic and more complex tasks
You are curious about Supply Chain and Operations Management – and if you have some knowledge it is a plus
You are willing to challenge existing processes and contribute with continuous improvements – we like to become better, and all ideas and questions are welcome in our daily work
You want to be an active contributor to a nice working culture in our team
This student assistant position can be relevant for many different studies - the most important thing is a strong interest (and preferably some knowledge) of supply chain, planning and procurement.
